Returning to School Scholarship Application Procedures



All Scholarship Applicants must:

  • Be a resident of Southern Prince George’s County Legislative District 8 or 9.
  • Previously completed one year at a College, University, or Non-traditional School.
  • Be planning to attend an institution of higher learning in 2020.
  • Have a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 or above from the last school attended. Positive consideration will be given to students whose GPA falls between 2.5 and 3.0.


Non-Traditional School Scholarship Application Procedures



All Scholarship Applicants must:

  • Be a resident of or attend school in Southern Prince George’s County Legislative District 8 or 9.
  • Be a graduating high school senior.
  • Plan to attend a non-traditional institution of higher learning (Computer Technology, Electrician, Barber/Cosmetologist, Pharmacy Technician, etc.) in the Fall of 2020.
  • Have a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 or above. Positive consideration will be given to students whose GPA falls between 2.5 and 3.0.
