Welcome to the official website of the Upsilon Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®. On behalf of our nearly 200 members, I invite you to explore our site to gain a greater understanding of who we are and what we do.


As members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated
®, the illustrious ladies of Upsilon Tau Omega are dedicated to the ideals of service and sisterhood. Since our 1997 chartering, we have worked tirelessly to implement programs that enrich the lives of residents of Southern Prince George’s County, Maryland. We value the relationships that have enabled us to further this mission, and we continue to seek partnerships with similarly-focused organizations.


Under the leadership of our distinguished International President, Dr. Glenda Baskin Glover, we are Exemplifying Excellence Through Sustainable Service by executing programming in the following target areas:

the Dream with Sustainable Service"


                      
This Event was a HUGE Success!!  Thank You for Your Support!! 

Upsilon Tau Omega in partnership with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Chapters - Iota Gamma Omega (IGO) and Psi Epsilon Omega (PEO) and Kappa Epsilon Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., celebrated the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at our “Living The Dream with Sustainable Service” event.

Through this dynamic service event, we collected 245 eyeglasses, 411 toiletries, 1,021 pairs of shoes, and made 250 pillowcase dresses!! 
We also shared life-saving health information with members of our community.
