The illustrious ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Upsilon Tau Omega Chapter welcome you to our website. Since our chartering in 1997, the members of Upsilon Tau Omega Chapter have actively worked in the surrounding communities to implement programs to enrich the lives of residents in Southern Prince George’s County, Maryland.
We continuously partner with like-minded organizations to identify and address areas of concern for residents locally, nationally, and globally that align with our International Program. Our 2018-2020 Program Targets are HBCU for Life: A Call to Action, Women's Healthcare and Wellness, Building Your Economic Legacy, The Arts!, and Global Impact. We are thankful that you have taken the time to visit our website to learn more about the extraordinary service we enthusiastically provide our community as Alpha Kappa Alpha women.
It is an honor to serve as the President of such a brilliant and celebrated chapter. We are starting our 20th year of service to the community and we have grown from a small group of 39 dedicated women to more than 180 hard-working and warm-spirited members. We are a large, loving, multigenerational chapter with a passion for sisterhood and service.
