Welcome to the official website of the Upsilon Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®. On behalf of our nearly 200 members, I invite you to explore our site to gain a greater understanding of who we are and what we do.


As members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated
®, the illustrious ladies of Upsilon Tau Omega are dedicated to the ideals of service and sisterhood. Since our 1997 chartering, we have worked tirelessly to implement programs that enrich the lives of residents of Southern Prince George’s County, Maryland. We value the relationships that have enabled us to further this mission, and we continue to seek partnerships with similarly-focused organizations.


Under the leadership of our distinguished International President, Dr. Glenda Baskin Glover, we are Exemplifying Excellence Through Sustainable Service by executing programming in the following target areas:

Upsilon Tau Omega Chapter hosted a visit to the National Museum of African American History & Culture. Our students, members, and guests explored the story of America through the lens of the African American experience. #NMAAC

SPGCCC Activities


SPGCCC Hosts 3rd Annual Pearls of Wisdom Golf Classic


On August 10th, SPGCCC hosted its 3rd Annual Pearls of Wisdom Golf Classic at the National Golf Club in Fort Washington, MD.
Golfers enjoyed meeting Prince George's County State's Attorney, Aisha Braveboy, NBC4-TV News Anchor, Pat Lawson Muse and former Washington Redskin, Brian Mitchell.  The Foundation also received several citations from the Governor of Maryland and Prince Georges County.  August 10th was officially made SPGCCC Day!!
